As we know that Coronavirus (which is known as COVID-19) spread all over the world. so through the Aayush Ki Pathshala platform, Today I would like to share some information about Coronavirus. All the information are used in this video are taken from WHO (World Heath Organization) website, which is the official and authentic source to spread awareness about COVID-19.
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a pandemic disease and it is a newly discovered coronavirus. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people, and those who have medical problems like health issue, diabetes, kidney issue, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness. The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to educate people about the COVID-19 virus:

Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching your face, cover your face and so on. COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Most infected people will develop mild to moderate illness and recover without hospitalization.
Types of Symptoms
- Most common symptoms
- Less common symptoms
- Serious symptoms
Most common symptoms are:
- Fever
- Dry cough
- Tiredness.
Less common symptoms are
- Aches and pains.
- Sore throat.
- Headache.
- Loss of taste or smell.
- A rash on skin
Serious symptoms are
- difficulty breathing or shortness of breath.
- chest pain or pressure.
- loss of speech or movement.
Please Seek immediate medical attention if you have serious symptoms. Always visit your doctor in case of serious symptoms. People with mild symptoms and who are healthy should manage their symptoms at home. On average, it takes 5–6 days from when someone is infected with the virus for symptoms to show, however it can take up to 14 days.
As we know that, Prevention is better than cure
To prevent infection and to slow transmission of COVID-19, do the following:
- Maintain at least 1 metre physical distance between you and other people.
- Avoid touching your face.
- Stay home if you feel unwell.
- Stop smoking and other activities that weaken the lungs.
- Practice physical distancing by avoiding unnecessary travel and staying away from large groups of people.
- Always wear a MASK.
- Try to avoid to visit public places.
