1) National Flag
Tiranga is a National Flag of India, it is also called Tricolour.

Tiranga has three colors:

  • Top: color is saffron which signifies sacrifice.
  • Middle: color is white, which stands for truth & peace.
  • Bottom: color is Green, which shows life and prosperity.
  • In the middle: Ashoka Chakra which is middle of the white color having a blue wheel.

2) National Flower – Indian Lotus
Indian Lotus is the national flower of India.

Lotus is the most beautiful species of aquatic plant,which is commonly cultivated in water gardens.

National Fruit – Mango

3) National Fruit – Mango
Mango is the national fruit of India.

In India, there are various variety of the Mango found like Kesar Mango, Alphonsos Mango, Badam Mango,Langra Mango, Desi Mango and so on.

4) National Animal – Royal Bengal Tiger

Royal Bengal Tiger is the national animal of India. The Bengal tiger ranks among the biggest wild cats alive today.

Royal Bangal Tiger is also National Animal of Bangladesh.

5) National Bird – Indian Peacock

Indian Peacock or Indian Peafowl is the national bird of India.

Indian Peacock is famous for their long feathers.

Peacock Dance and sing before rain.

6) National Tree – Indian Banyan

Indian Banyan is the national tree of India.

The country’s unity is symbolized by the trees huge structure and its deep roots.
Banyan tree has medicinal properties.

7) National River – The Ganga
The Ganga river is the national river of India.

It is a holy river for Hindus and people worship to the Ganga river. Water of Ganga river is known as “Ganga Jal” that is used in various holy activities.

The Ganga is also one of the longest river in India.

8) National Currency – Indian Rupee
Indian Rupee is the official currency of India, Which is controlled by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

The new symbol of Indian Rupee was officially adopted in the year 2010.

In the new computer keyboard this symbol is available.

9) National Emblem
The national emblem of India is adopted from Lion Capital of Ashoka at Sarnath. It has four Asiatic lions, it’s shows three but the one is back side.

At the bottom is a horse and a bull with beautiful chakra at centre.
